At the very last minute before leaving Madrid, we stumbled upon THE place for chocolate con churros at Chocolat on Calle Santa Maria. Tiny but busy and a place the locals like to visit. The churros are again light and crispy. These ones were not greasy at all. And the chocolate is amazing! I actually enjoyed the chocolate taste and texture more than at San Ginés near Plaza Mayor!
If I had to pick a place for my chocolate con churros fix, it would be here. The staff are also SUPER friendly and helpful. A wonderful atmosphere always adds an experience!
