Tokyo Disney Resort - So much to eat with so little time!

Yes, we went back to Tokyo Disney Resort! This time we did both parks in one day. They only offer 1-day park passes (6400 Yen per adult), but if you time it right, you can get an After 6 pm pass (only offered on certain days, 3400 Yen per adult) and visit the other park! We opted to visit Tokyo DisneySea in the afternoon, and then popped over to Tokyo Disneyland after 6pm. Both parks were very busy so we only did a couple rides at each park. The lines were upwards of 2 hours for many of the rides. Not sure what was so special the day we visited (April 1, 2014). There were even lines for a couple of the stores at DisneySea!

Vending machine at the Disney train station - all filled with Disney goodies!
So what do we have to share this time? The food! Oh boy, what fun we had! You can find Japanese cuisine here, Chinese, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. but there were a lot of other things I thought were fun and too cute, so off I went taking pictures and eating.

One of my favorite things to eat at any Disney parks are churros! And are they ever fun in Tokyo! I ate two...

Why aren't all churros at Disney Parks in the shape of Mickey?!

Carrot churro with orange sugar - this was really good!
Lot's of baked goods here too! Love how they go the extra mile. Had to pace myself though so I didn't eat any of these.

Red bean bun shaped like Mike from Monsters Inc.

Mickey shaped muffins
For lunch we went to one of the restaurants and it happened to be themed with the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. I did not select my meal based on what I felt like eating or what looked good, I based it on the theme of the restaurant!

Queen of Hearts beef patty and soup (with heart shaped pasta!)
Popcorn is huge at the parks. So much that on the bottom left hand corner of the park map they put the locations of the popcorn stands and the flavours they sell. Yes, the flavours are part of the fun (and the line ups for each proved their POP-ularity!) They also pinpoint the stands on the map with little kernels of corn! The popcorn container is a big seller and each stand had a different container, so depending on the flavour and container you wanted, you had a big decision to make. The container was not cheap and to refill it was not cheap, but who cares?! We want popcorn! What's your pick, salt, strawberry, soda, curry, caramel, etc. We tried the soya sauce & butter popcorn, which I actually liked!

The bucket of caramel popcorn is approx $25 CAD, and refills are about $5 CAD!
This was the line up for the caramel popcorn!

PS oops forgot a few pics to share!

Little martian dumplings! They were soooo cute!

Cast member was cleaning when we spotted him making some art...

This is what he painted with water!
