This one is too good not to write a quick blog about. We saw yet another movie in Vietnam but we enjoyed it so much that we saw it twice and need to share it with you! It is a sequel for a Vietnamese comedy starring a mostly female cast. "Co Dan Dai Chien" means something to the effect of Bridal Wars. The trailers looked very interesting and we had to see it. Only one theatre (Lotte Cinema) in Da Nang was showing it with English subtitles.
The movie is basically about men who are in relationships but cheat by having multiple girlfriends and a team of ladies (think Charlies Angels meets team Mission Impossible) who's service/mission is to expose these men using sophisticated and entertaining schemes. The script, acting and production quality is excellent.
The quirkiness and absurdity of the movie worked and it was most enjoyable, and hilarious.
